Evil Sickens the Creator

Increasing murders though out world cities have proven that life in the eyes of many is cheap. People will kill over here, rape over there, and steal down the road. Back before God sent the flood upon the earth, He observed the evil which men were dishing out on each other, and it saddened Him to see this kind of behavior (Genesis 6:5-7).

The evil of man still sickens the Creator, and just because it may seem that He isn’t around, you can be assured that He is (Proverbs 15:3).

There is no magic stick to wave and make evil go away. Evil is stopped when a person comes to his or her senses and realizes that a wicked life isn’t right (Luke 13:3, 15:17-19; Acts 2:28). The way of God isn’t popular, but it is the only way which men can make evil go away (John 14:6; Matthew 24:35; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11).

Cannot Win God's Approval by Killing People

The Devil just keeps on doing his work, and that is for 24 hours a day. It doesn’t matter if a person is gay, muslim, atheist, etc. If you don’t agree, there is the polemic platform: have a debate. Let each side present their evidence and allow the listeners to conclude who has the truth. But, what one must not do is get a gun, walk into a place, and open fire. No one has the right to do that.

The Bible teaches that murder is murder, and that is all there is to it (Romans 13:9-10). Such a sin will condemn a person to hell. That guy in Orlando might think he is headed for paradise after shooting up that night club, but such will not be the case for him, nor any other foolish person who decides to follow in his footsteps (Matthew 15:13-14).

A person cannot win the approval of God by shooting and killing others simply they don’t agree with them. All shooters will be hell bound if they die in the gun battle with police (John 8:21).

The Devil Doesn't Take Time Off

While people are in their beds sleeping; someone is out in the streets early in the am roaming around, up to no good. Why? Why is that person not sleeping like everyone else? I’ll tell you why. This person isn’t resting because he cannot do so. The Devil has no time for rest. He knows that he has little time so he must do as much damage as he can before the Judgement Day stops him.

“And the Lord said to Satan, “where have you been?” Satan answered “From going to and fro on the earth and from walking back and forth on it” (Job 1:7).

“Therefore rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you having great wrath because he knows that he has a short time” (Revelation 12:12).

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8).

A person wakes up in the morning only to hear that car tires were slashed. Someone has been shot and killed. Someone robbed, assaulted, and raped. A fire bomb was thrown into a house. etc. The Devil takes no time off because he has too much work to do.

America Shouldn't Go The Direction of Rome

As people continue to depart from the Lord and get comfortable in things that are wrong, they develop no concept of what is right (Proverbs 14:12, 21:2).

And if there are people living according to what the Lord requires, there will be a clash of cultures (Amos 3:3; 2 Corinthians 6:14-15). In one corner will be people who are crying for a return to the way which God has ordained and in the other corner will be those who cry: “it’s my life and I will live it as I want and I don’t care what others think” (Jeremiah 7:1-34). If this kind of mentality continues and the majority goes in the direction which is wrong, it could lead to persecution of Christians (Matthew 10:16-23).

This happened in ancient times when Rome immersed itself in the heathen way of life, and the Christians attempted to get Rome to repent. Instead the government arrested the Christians and threw many to the lions (John 16:2).

America shouldn’t accept this shameful way of life where Christians are attacked and sued for speaking the truth.

Ain't Too Proud to Beg

Nations thoughout the world are facing severe economical hardships. Foreclosures and unemployment appear to have no end in sight. So what are we to do? One thing we cannot do is give up hope, for we must believe that things will get better.

Man needs to continue the search for a jobs and homes because once a person stops, all hope stops. The words, “keep hope alive” means that hope must be stimulated, it just doesn’t stay within man, but by believing in a better tomorrow, that hope keeps churning. Man must not be too proud to do what he may have never done before. For example, if working at Burger King was unimaginable; a man must be prepared to work there.

In other words, the phrase “Ain’t too proud to beg” is the way to go. And last but not least, remember to make time for God. In the past, there has been too much emphasis on making money and no time for the Lord and that kind of conduct must stop (Proverbs 1:20-33; Deuteronomy 28:1-68).

You Reap What You Sow

There has been a lot of talk and investigation about the Amtrak train crash which killed 8 and injured about 200 people. And rightly so, there should be lots of talk and much investigation because people are dead or injured!

We heard the engineer was driving too fast at the Frankford Curve, and that might have been true. But there is another thing which supposedly took place that fateful night which makes no sense and has no right to be found on earth. That stupid act is throwing rocks at the trains traveling that route! How in the world could anyone do that? Such an act endangers operations and places lives in jeopardy. No one has come forward and confessed their part in the rock throwing and I don’t suppose they ever will. But the Lord will deal with them in His way and at His time. Be it known to those rock throwers that they helped make the tragic events of that night come to past. May it bear on their conscience about the lives ruined by their so-called just having some fun with stones. The word of God teaches men will reap what they sow (Galatians 6:7-8; Proverbs 26:27).

Four Sayings That Won't Be in Hell

Here are four things that men will not be saying once they end up in Hell.

“There is no God.” The mere fact that men are burning for eternity is evidence that God is. Because He said evil men will be punished with Hell fire, and so it will be (Matthew 10:28, 25:41-46).

“I’m not interested in religion.” When suffering in Hell fire, everyone will be concerned about being religious because they now realize such was the key for their escape from damnation. However, after death it will be too late! For as one dies, so will he be at the Judgement (John 8:21-24; Hebrews 9:27).

“I know I’m going to Hell.” When alive, men took Hell lightly by making such statements as if it were all a game. But once the reality of eternal suffering begins, men will be saying; “Why didn’t I change my life when I had the chance?” (Luke 16:27-28).

“No suffering in Hell.” There will be no Jehovah’s Witnesses teaching this false doctrine because all who will be there will indeed feel the pain (Matt. 13:38-42; Mark 9:43-48).

Every Idle Word

Thomas asked Scott why he doesn’t use profane language, to which Scott replied; “it costs more then I can afford.” Now maybe you are puzzled by all of this, so allow me to explain what Scott meant.

Scott had some knowledge of the word of God, and he knew that words aren’t free. Like a credit card, man’s use of them will have to be paid one day. Jesus Christ said, “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment, For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned (Matthew 12:36-37; Jude 14-15).

Scott doesn’t use profanity because he doesn’t want to answer to the Lord on Judgment Day and have those words condemn his soul to a burning Hell.

Next time you hear someone use an obscenity, be sure to remember what you have learned today. Can that person afford what they just said?

Hope you don’t forget this message.

Don't Be Gullible

In 2 Samuel 13:1-20, we read of a man who met a girl, sweet talked her, had sex with her, and afterward treated her like a dog! This happen centuries ago, and it is still happening today because some females are just too gullible. These women are suckers for sweet talk and a smooth smack-talker will sweep them off their feet.

And after the sex, these women will see that they have been used. Ladies wise up! Talk is cheap! Where is the substance in the man? You must respect yourself because if you don’t respect yourself, no man is going to.

Here are somethings I hope you will keep in mind, before you take that man to meet your parents are or get very serious.

Is he pressuring me for sex? Does he believe that according to the Bible that sex outside marriage is fornication? Have I seen him go into a fits of anger? Does he have a job? Does he pay his bills on time? Has he shown good personal responsibility? Does he take the lead as a man?

Does he dress in a respectful manner or does he look like a thug?

Am I a woman who likes thug-looking men? Who are his friends and what are they doing with their lives? Does he use foul language?

Does he respect me or women in general? Has he proven that he loves me?

Are there bad reports about him? Has he spoke of any goals that would include a wife and children? Has he been divorced? If so, did he divorce his wife because she committed adultery? (Matthew 19:9).

Is he open to learning about the word of God? Am I open to learning about the word of God?

Serve Others Today

In order to be helpful to others, one must be people-friendly and have the desire to serve. Jesus Christ said that He came not to be served, but to serve, by offering Himself as a sacrifice for many (Matthew 20:28).

This same kind of spirit should be found in men everywhere. People should devote themselves to go out each day and make someone’s day brighter. Make someone else smarter. Make someone else into a better person. Make someone correct, by freeing them from the error of negative thoughts and false dogma’s which enslaved many in bondage. Put out the fires, not start them. Put money in the pockets of men and not rob them of it. Make smiles on faces, not frowns. Mentor minds, not destroy them.

We don’t need a multitude of people to do any of what has been said. All we need is a few who are willing to start today, by making the example of Jesus Christ alive and well.

Hope you will pay attention to this message.
